DIY Custom Cd Sleeves

For a while now I've been overlooking and searching, browsing the internet to get some kind of idea for a custom Cd sleeve's. I came across diplomaticwife blog and found a great unique idea for easy to do Cd case. If you know me, you know I love DIY projects and of course had to try it and plus its so inexpensive to do, basically had all I needed at home. This was my 1st trial and I think I did pretty great! In the future I'll be doing some little minor improvements like different paper design, ribbon and add a little extra fun in them customized to each client! So here we go lets get started...

What you'll need: Scrapbook or Cardstock  paper, scissors,
ribbon, Cd to trace, pencil, tape or glue and if you'd like doilies.

Step UNO: Trace your Cd on the paper, repeat 4 times. (and actually I would recommend if you had another circle shaped item a little bigger than the Cd to trace that, like the top of an oatmeal top)

Step Two: Carefully cut all four circles.

Step Three: Fold your circles in half (like taco shells!!)

Step Four: Open the "tacos" slightly and form a square overlapping each other till you get this! Kinda tricky eh. After that use double sided tape or glue right under each circle corner.

Step Five: Insert your Cd and what ever else you would like and tie it all together with ribbon!

Waaaaahhlaaaaaa enjoy and mix it up a little to customize it to your taste :)
